Window or door leaf, comprising an inner supporting leaf profile (1) having a bearing shoulder (2) on the room side, which in combination with a support surface (4) arranged rectangular thereto forms a recess, in which is inserted a plate element (7), which engages the support surface (4) by setting blocks (8) and the bearing shoulder (2) by a bearing seal (9) and is connected to the leaf profile (1) by retaining elements (11, 14), and further comprises a weather side seal (12, 17) engaging over the circumference of the plate element (7), characterized by the following features : a) said retaining elements (11, 14) comprise an adhesive (11) which fills and is stuck to the walls of the groove (10) defined by the plate element (7), the bearing seal (9) and the bearing shoulder (2) ; b) the support surface (4) is formed by support strips (6), which are pushed into and fixed in a retaining groove (3) of the leaf profile open to the weather side ; c) the surrounding seal (12; 17) on the weather side seals the space between the support strips (6) and the inserted plate element (7) ; d) on the adhesive side the bearing seal (9) comprises a section (9a) permitting bulging into said groove (10).
