Abstract (en)

The projectile has in succession in an outer jacket (11) a front core (19) and a rear core (14). The rear core is surrounded partially by a cap-shaped inner jacket (16) which is hooked on the outer jacket (11) by means of a lateral indentation (21). When a soft target is hit, the front end of the outer jacket (11) widens radially and then swings back rearwards. The rear core (14) remains in place in the inner jacket (16) on the inside of the outer jacket (11). The front end of the rear core (14) is deformed according to the impact energy of the projectile. A more uniform projectile effect at different target ranges and a specific shape of the flattened residual body of the projectile are obtained. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Das Geschoß weist in einem Außenmantel (11) hintereinander einen vorderen Kern (19) und einen rückwärtigen Kern (14) auf. Der rückwärtige Kern ist zum Teil von einem kappenförmigen Innenmantel (16) umgeben, der an dem Außenmantel (11) durch eine seitliche Eindrückung (21) verhakt ist. Beim Auftreffen auf ein Weichziel weitet sich das vordere Ende des Außenmantels (11) radial auf, um nach hinten zurückzuklappen. Der rückwärtige Kern (14) verbleibt in dem Innenmantel (16) im Inneren des Außenmantels (11) an seinem Platz. Das vordere Ende des rückwärtigen Kerns (14) wird in Abhängigkeit von der Auftreffenergie des Geschosses deformiert. Man erhält eine gleichmäßigere Geschoßwirkung bei unterschiedlichen Zielentfernungen und eine definierte Form des aufgepilzten Geschoßrestkörpers.
