Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0225788A2] A cladding system for a wall of a building has panels (8) which are interlocked with one another by having edges profiled to form complementary tongues (9) and grooves (l0). The panels (8) are attached to the wall surface (l7) by brackets (ll), each of which has a pair of oppositely facing channels (2l) into which are inserted flanges (l6) formed adjacent to the rear faces of the panels (8). Preferably, the brackets (ll) do not run the full length of the panel edges, and the profiling is provided by edge sections (l4,l5).
