[origin: EP0225844A2] The device serves for the zigzag folding of a cloth cutting to form a pattern board which is used to compile a pattern collection, especially of curtain materials. The device comprises as essential components a fixed support plate 1, an upper folding slide 2 composed of two parallel plates and a lower folding slide 3 likewise composed of two plates. The cloth cutting is first laid onto the fixed support plate 1, so that it hangs down equally on both sides. Thereafter, first the upper folding slide and then the lower folding slide are brought into the position shown in the Figure. The cloth is thereby already folded six times. To take out the pattern board formed in this way, the upper slide first has to be moved upwards into its initial position. <IMAGE>
