1. Paper handkerchief package, comprising a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs (3), which is surrounded on all sides by a sheet envelope (2), which paper handkerchief package possesses a combination of the following features : a) the sheet envelope (2) is provided, for forming an extraction opening, with a line of weakness (4), which extends only over the wide face (5) of the sheet envelope following the areal extent of the folded paper handkerchiefs, and over the centre of this wide face of the sheet envelope and preferably follows the edge of an areal figure extending over the centre of this wide face of the sheet envelope, and b) the paper handkerchiefs (3) possess a folding in which one corner (6) of a folded handkerchief (3) lies freely, with the two edges (7, 8) departing from it, over the outer face of this handkerchief, wherein the one (7) of these edges (7, 8) runs approximately in the centre of the areal extent of this folded hankerchief from the one longitudinal edge of same to the other longitudinal edge of same and the other (8) of these edges (7, 8) runs along one longitudinal edge of the folded handkerchief, which folding is formed of a Z-shaped pre-folding (10), the fold lines (11, 12) of which run parallel to each other and to the edge, by further successive twofold folding about fold lines (16, 17) running perpendicularly to the aforementioned fold lines (11, 12), the first folding of the Z-shaped prefolding (10) being effected about a fold line (16), perpendicular to the fold lines (11, 12) of the prefolding, which passes through the centre of the prefolding and a subsequent second folding being effected about fold lines (17) which pass through the centre of the halves of the prefolding that are laid one upon the other during the folding about the fold line (16) and which run parallel to the fold line (16).

Papiertaschentuchpackung mit einem Stapel aus gefalteten Papiertaschentüchern (3), der von einer Folienumhüllung (2) allseitig umschlossen ist. Die Papiertaschentücher (3) weisen eine Faltung auf, bei der auf einer Außenseite des gefalteten Taschentuches eine Ecke (6) dieses Taschentuches mit den beiden von ihr ausgehenden Rändern (7, 8) frei aufliegt, wobei der eine dieser Ränder (7) annähernd in der Mitte der Flächenerstreckung des gefalteten Taschentuches vom einen Längsrand desselben zum anderen Längsrand desselben verläuft und der andere dieser Ränder längs eines Längsrandes des gefalteten Taschentuches verläuft. Zur Bildung einer Entnahmeöffnung ist eine Schwächungslinie (4) vorgesehen, welche nur über die Mitte der Breitseitenfläche (5) der Folienumhüllung verläuft.
