Abstract (en)
Spaces, particularly interior spaces of motor vehicles, are monitored and the penetration of persons or objects is detected. An electromagnetic wave field is radiated into the space at one point. At another point, it impinges on a receiver, possibly after a reflection. The special feature is that the wave field has a spatial structure. This results in a relative intensity minimum and a relative intensity maximum at the receiver. The difference between these is formed in the rest state and is stored as reference value. When a thief enters the space, this difference changes. This is detected by intelligent electronics and triggers an alarm. A thief cannot determine the spatial structure imposed on the wave field. The monitoring system according to the invention can thus not be outwitted and operates free of interference. <IMAGE>

Räume, insbesondere Kraftfahrzeug-Innenräume, werden überwacht und das Eindringen von Personen oder Gegenständen festgestellt. Ein elektromagnetisches Wellenfeld wird an einer Stelle in den Raum eingestrahlt. An einer anderen Stelle trifft es gegebenenfalls nach einer Reflexion auf einen Empfänger. Das Besondere liegt darin, daß das Wellenfeld eine räumliche Struktur aufweist. Damit ergeben sich am Empfänger ein relatives Intensitäts-Minimum und ein relatives Intensitäts-Maximum. Deren Differenz wird im Ruhezustand gebildet und als Bezugswert abgespeichert. Sofern ein Dieb in den Raum eindringt, ändert sich diese Differenz. Eine intelligente Elektronik stellt dies fest und löst einen Alarm aus. Ein Dieb kann die dem Wellenfeld aufgezwungene räumliche Struktur nicht ermitteln. Damit ist die erfindungsgemäße Überwachung nicht zu überlisten und arbeitet störungsfrei.
