[origin: US4728919A] A ferrite toroidal core is inserted into an annular trough enclosed by a cap with a winding applied about the trough member which is then sealed by an envelope of resin. The trough member includes resilient tabs extending internally of at least one mutually concentric trough wall, the tabs having their free edges disposed against the toroidal core so that the core is fixed and centered within the trough and so that an air cushion is provided between the core and the trough wall.

Feuchtigkeitsdicht mit Gießhaz oder thermoplatischem Kunstharz (15) umhüllter, bewickelter Ferritringkern (7) der umbewickelt in einen durch eine Kappe (6) aus thermoplastischem Werkstoff geschlossenen, ringförmigen Trog (1) aus thermoplastischem Werkstoff eingesetzt ist und dessen Wicklung (12, 13) auf den Trog (1) aufgebracht ist. Der Trog (1) weist auf der Innenseite mindestens eines seiner zueinander konzentrischen Trogwände (2, 5) einstückig an die Trogwand angeformte federnde Lappen (4) auf, die zumindest mit ihren freien Stirnkanten gegen den Ferritringkern (7) anliegen, derart daß der Ferritringkern (7) im Trog (1) fixiert und zentriert ist und bei ausreichendem Spiel des Ferritringkerns (7) im Trog (1) ein Luftpolster (9) zwischen dem Ferritringkern (7) und der Trogwand (5) gebildet wird.
