Zentrifuge mit einem auswechselbaren Rotor (2), der mit einem Informationsträger (3) für maschinenlesbare Information versehen ist, und einer Leseeinrichtung, die Detektoren (4,4A) zur Abtastung des Informationsträgers (3) und eine elektronische Schaltung zur Verarbeitung der aufgenommenen Information aufweist, wobei der Informationsträger (3) eine Reihe von am Rotor verteilt angeordneten Permanentmagnetstiften (9,10) aufweist, die teils mit ihren Nord-, teils mit ihren Südpolen den Detektoren (4,4A) zugewandt sind.
