[origin: WO8607504A1] The device comprises two metal plates (1a, 1b) of which the highest point is situated at 10 cm above the road surface (1), which plates are depressed by the passage of motor vehicles. A rack (2) pivoted (1d) on one of the plates and installed in a machine room rotatingly drives a wheel (13) and a generator (3). A no-load running wheel (9) fixed to both rotating parts enables to drive the wheel (13) always in the same direction. A rocking bar (4) provided with a counterweight (4a) provides for the balancing of the whole assembly.

Le dispositif comprend deux plaques métalliques (1a, 1b) dont le point le plus élevé se trouve à 10 cm au dessus du revêtement (1) de la route et qui sont pressées vers le bas par le passage des véhicules. Une crémaillère (2) pivotée (1d) sur une des plaques et disposée dans un local de machines entraîne en rotation un volant (13) et un générateur (3). Une roue libre (9) fixée aux deux parties rotatives permet d'entraîner le volant (13) toujours dans le même sens. Une bascule (4) munie d'un contre-poids (4a) sert à équilibrer le tout.
