[origin: EP0229264A2] A motor-driven dispensing assembly for a vending machine with vertical ducts will have a low energy consumption and at the same time a compact design. The motor-driven shaft 42 is parallel to a support plate 35 and carries a pushing-out device 44 moved on a circular path K. A free passage is provided between the shaft 42 and the pushing-out device 44. A blocking lever 58 actuated by the shaft 42 is provided for safeguarding the ducts. <IMAGE>
