Abstract (en)

It serves for mounting fabrics (14) such as are used by artists for mounting canvas for painting and other works. The stretcher frame (10) comprises interconnected frame sections (11) having ridges (15) on the inner periphery thereof to which the edges of the fabric are secured by removable means such as spring clips.
