Apparatus for the vertical adjustment of the hinges of pivoted leaves, in particular for the vertical adjustment of shutters for windows and doors with a spacer unit arranged on a hinge receiving pin (3), comprising a cylindrical adjustment sleeve (4) provided with a ring ramp (7) which engages around the receiving pin, and also comprising a ring ramp (12, 12') which is of complementary shape to the ring ramp of the adjusting sleeve and which is associated with the bearing sleeve of the associated hinge part (2) at the pivotal leaf side, wherein both ring ramps (7; 12, 12') can be mutually locked in different relative positions by rotation of the adjustment sleeve, characterised in that the ring ramp of the adjustment sleeve (4) is formed in the lower part of the adjustment sleeve (4) as an outer ring ramp (7) ; in that the ring ramp associated with the hinge part (2) at the pivotal leaf side is formed as an inner ring ramp (12, 12') which is provided at the inner wall of the bearing sleeve which engages over the adjustment sleeve (4) and is shaped complementary to the outer ring ramp (7) ; and in that the adjustment sleeve (4) is provided with engagement surfaces for an actuating device.
