[origin: US4756099A] A ski boot has a tongue part forwardly deflectable relative to the shank part connected to the sole of the boot, as the skier's lower legs move in the leaning forward direction. The deflectability of the tongue part can be limited by means of a limiting device consisting of laterally arranged limiting arrangements. By means of actuating elements, the limiting arrangements can be adjusted to different distances of deflection, permitting a more or less leaning forward stance depending on the needs of the skier. A ski boot with such a limiting device permits the skier to effortlessly adjust the degree of limitation in the leaning forward position in any desired way.

Ein Zungenteil (l6) ist relativ zum mit der Schuhsole (l0) verbundenen Schaftteil (ll) beim Bewegen der Unterschenkel in Vorlagerichtung (l4) auslenkbar. Durch eine aus seitlich angeordneten Begrenzungsanordnungen (ll7, ll7') bestehende Begrenzungsvorrichtung lässt sich diese Auslenkbarkeit des Zungenteils (l6) begrenzen. Mittels Betätigungselemente (ll8, ll8') können die Begrenzungsanordnungen (ll7, ll7') auf unterschiedliche Auslenkwege eingestellt werden, so dass je nach Bedürfnis des Skifahrers eine mehr oder weniger grosse Vorlage möglich ist. Durch einen Skischuh mit einer solchen Begrenzungsvorrichtung hat der Skifahrer die Möglichkeit, das Ausmass der Vorlagebegrenzung mühelos beliebig zu verstellen.
