[origin: WO8700774A1] In a pipe bending machine of the draw bending type and having a bending die (12) and a clamp (16) for clamping the pipe (1) to the bending die, means are provided (e.g. a stop 60) for limiting displacement of the clamp away from the bending die so that it is just sufficient for releasing the pipe after the bending die has been turned around its axis to form a bend. With this facility, a pipe may be bent to e.g. serpentine form as shown, without the adjacent run of pipe interfering with the displacements of the clamp.

Dans une machine de pliage de tubes du type à pliage par tirage et ayant une matrice de pliage (12) ainsi qu'une pince (16) pour serrer le tube (1) sur la matrice de pliage, des moyens sont prévus (p.ex. une butée 60) pour limiter le déplacement de la pince s'éloignant de la matrice de pliage de sorte que la pince ne s'éloigne que d'une distance suffisante pour libérer le tube après avoir tourné la matrice de pliage autour de son axe de manière à former un coude. Avec cette particularité, on peut plier un tube pour lui donner la forme d'un serpentin p.ex., comme cela est illustré, sans que la longueur de tube adjacente ne gêne les déplacements de la pince.
