[origin: WO8700953A1] Hollow flag-poles (1) of metal or plastic are provided with a hole at the upper end allowing a rope (11) to be located inside the flag-pole (1) with the exception of the end of the rope which is secured to the attachment at the top corner of a flag (13). The attachment at the lower corner of the flag (13) is connected by a weight (14) to a loop (15) around the flag-pole (1). The other end of the rope (11) is connected to a reeling unit (16) arranged inside the flag-pole (1) at a suitable level from the ground to be operated manually. The object of the invention is to eliminate the need for a hole to be made for the rope at the top end of the flag-pole (1) and to prevent a flag (12) from becoming entangled once it has been hoisted. This is achieved by the use of an end-piece consisting of two units (2 and 3) arranged one after the other and preferably pivotable in relation to each other, one unit (3) having an aperture (10) to receive a rope (11) in communication with a passage (5) arranged inside the two units (2 and 3) for the rope (11) coming from said aperture (10).

Des mâts à drapeaux (1) en métal ou en plastique sont pourvus d'un orifice à leur extrémité supérieure pour permettre la mise en place dans le mât (1) d'un câble (11), à l'exclusion de son extrémité que l'on relie à la fixation dans l'angle supérieur d'un drapeau (13). La fixation à l'angle inférieur du drapeau (13) est reliée par un poids (14) à une boucle (15) autour du mât (1). L'autre extrémité du câble (11) est reliée à un enrouleur (16) disposé à l'intérieur du mât (1) à un niveau au-dessus du sol adapté à sa manoeuvre, qui se fait manuellement. Le but de l'invention est d'éviter la nécessité de prévoir un orifice pour le câble à l'extrémité supérieure du mât (1) ainsi que l'enchevêtrement du drapeau une fois hissé. Ce but est réalisé par l'utilisation d'une pièce d'extrémité composée de deux éléments (2 et 3) disposés l'un après l'autre et de préférence orientables l'un par rapport à l'autre. Un (3) des éléments possède un orifice (10) destiné à recevoir un câble (11) en communication avec un passage (5) disposé dans les deux ensembles (2 et 3) pour recevoir le câble qui passe par ledit orifice (10).
