[origin: EP0231931A2] A cyclone with forced gas stream whirling, as per this invention, is built up from an inlet chamber of spirally shaped side walls connected to a whirling chamber, wherein a middle pipe (4) is mounted. On the upper part of the middle pipe (4) a worm-wheel (5) is wound, while the lower part of the middle pipe (4) is built up from a number of cylinders (6) of an increasingly smaller diameter, concentrically superimposing one another. From outside, the cylinders (6) are provided with oblique guide vanes (10) and from inside with vanes being in parallel to the axis of the middle pipe (4). In the inlet chamber there are installed an inlet stub pipe (7) and an outlet stub pipe. The whirling chamber terminates in a drain stub pipe (9).
