Abstract (en)
A post-like housing (2) is installed at one side of the entrance (1), e.g to a shop. The top has a supply opening (3) for the air drawn in by a fan (4) which can be driven by an electromotor (5). The previously heated air is drawn along the through channel (6) and forced out through openings or slits (7) across or in front of the entrance. A wall (8) increasingly limits the cross-section of the channel (6) away from the fan so that the outflow remains practically constant all the way down. An electrical heating element (9) in the channel heats the air. The housing is pivotable about its axis (10) so that the position of the air screen can be adjusted.

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Bildung eines Luftschirmes oder eines Luftvorhanges vor und/oder in einer Durchgangsoeffnung eines Gebaeude, wobei von einem Gehaeuse aus durch eine Zahl daarin angebrachter Blasoeffnungen oder einem darin angebrachten Blasschlitz Luft in einer hauptsaechlich waagerechten Richtung vor und/oder in die Durchgangsoeffnung geblasen wird.
