Detection of the wear threshold is implemented, for each of the brushes (3), by means of an optical fibre system (5) combined with an emitter (6) and a receiver (7), in order to block off automatically the luminous flux when the wear reaches the extreme part of the fibre which is embedded in the brush. Several embodiments of the system (5) are described in detail. <IMAGE>

La détection du seuil d'usure est opérée, pour chacun des balais (3), à l'aide d'un système de fibre optique (5) associé à un émetteur (6) et à un récepteur (7), afin d'occulter automatiquement le flux lumineux lorsque l'usure atteint la partie extrême de la fibre qui est noyée dans le balai. Plusieurs formes de réalisation du système (5) sont décrites en détail.
