1. Ice crampon brace, comprising at least a first (5) and a second (6) parts whose spacing apart is adjustable by means of a connecting bar (7), the bar (7) being mounted for sliding in a tunnel (8) of one at least of the first and second brace parts and being urged by a locking means in translation, ensuring locking thereof in the tunnel, characterized in that : - the tunnel (8) is defined by a cross-piece (11) and a shaft (12) disposed transversely and offset by a distance greater than the thickness of the bar (7), the shaft and the cross-piece being mounted for rotation with respect to each other about a transverse axis of rotation (I-I) off-centred with respect to the mean axis (II-II) of the shaft, - the tunnel and the bar comprise reciprocal transverse male-female engagement members (19, 21, 23), - the relative rotation of the shaft and of the cross-piece, in a first relative angular position (figure 4), causes the male-female engagement members (19, 21, 23) to draw together and engage for longitudinal locking of the bar (7) and, in a second angular position (figure 6), release of the male-female engagement members and freeing of the bar for sliding in the tunnel.

Les parties d'armature sont reliées par une barrette (7). La liaison de la barrette (7) et de l'armature (5) s'effectue par un tunnel (8) limité par un arbre (12) et une traverse (11) décentrée et mobile en rotation autour de l'arbre. La traverse (11) porte un ergot qui s'engage dans les trous (21) de la barrette. L'arbre (12) comporte un méplat (13) latéral permettant le dégagement de l'ergot hors du trou lorsque la barrette est inclinée par rotation autour de l'arbre.
