Abstract (en)
The heated roll (5) of the calender which is intended to be applied against the endless belt (1) stretched between the transfer roll (4) and the movable tensioning drum (2) is carried by a support (6) capable of rotating about the axis of the said roll (4) so that, by actuating the control mechanism (7-8) associated with the said support (6), it is possible to regulate the angular width of the region of contact of the skins with the roll (5). <IMAGE>

Le cylindre chauffé (5) de la calandre qui est destiné à être appliqué contre le tapis sans fin (1) tendu entre le cylindre de transfert (4) et le tambour mobile de tension (2) est porté par un support (6) susceptible de tourner autour de l'axe dudit cylindre (4), de façon à ce qu'en agissant sur ke mécanìsme de commande (7-8) associé audit support (6), on puisse régler l'amplitude angulaire de la zone de contact des peaux contre le cylindre (5).
