Abstract (en)

1. A method for invalidating valuable documents contained within a housing (1) forming a locker, case or box and comprising means of detecting an attempt at a break-in (8, 9), characterized in that it comprises the following stages : - conveying the valuable documents at least singly at the time of an attempt at a brek-in from a volume (2) for storage of the valuable documents intended to be issued to a volume (3) for storage of the invalidated valuable documents, - invalidating each of the valuable documents along the path of the documents between the aforesaid storage volumes within a shorter period than the minimum period required to bread into the housing.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'invalidation de documents de valeur contenus dans un boitier formant coffre, malette ou container et comprenant des moyens de détection d'une tentative d'effraction, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : Transport au moins un par un des documents de valeur lors d'une tentative d'effraction d'un volume de stockage des documents de valeur à distribuer vers un volume de stockage des documents de valeur invalidés; Invalidation de chacun des documents de valeur en un temps inférieur au temps minimum d'effraction du boitier, par perforation et/ou impression d'un motif au cours de ce transport. Dispositif permettant la mise en oeuvre du procédé et application de ce dispositif aux malettes de transport et distributeurs automatiques de billets.
