[origin: WO8701094A1] The present device comprises, mounted in a frame: a) a hopper (2) having at its base an opening (3) and slots (4) delimiting optionally articulated, inclined and vertical planes (5) which open into said opening (3); b) an inclined conveyor or chute (6) for supplying the hopper (2) with containers (7) through a lock (8); c) a tool (9) controlling one or a plurality of knives (11) for cutting out the container, which tool is mounted in the frame (1) so as to be displaced against the containers (7) and is provided with drive means (16, 17), the knife (11) having a contour adapted to the diameter of the containers and being positioned so as to partly and tranversely sever the containers in the medial region of their bodies; d) and means (9 and 5) for opening and flattening the containers (7) after they have been cut out by the knife (11) while causing their emptying into a receptacle (13) placed under the hopper (2). This device may most conveniently substitute conventional can openers and eliminates all risks of cutting the hands of the user.

Ce dispositif comprend, montés dans un bâti: a) une trémie (2) percée à sa base d'une ouverture (3) et de lumières (4) délimitant des plans éventuellement articulés, inclinés et verticaux (5) et qui débouchent dans cette ouverture (3); b) une goulotte ou tapis inclinée (6) d'alimentation de la trémie (2) en récipient (7) par une écluse (8); c) un outil (9) commandant un ou plusieurs couteau(x) (11) de découpe du récipient, monté dans le bâti (1) de manière à pouvoir être déplacé contre des récipients (7) et équipé de moyens (16, 17) d'entraînement, le couteau (11) ayant un contour s'adaptant au diamètre des récipients et étant positionné de manière à sectionner en partie ceux-ci transversalement dans la zone médiane de leur corps; d) et des moyens (9 et 5) pour ouvrir puis aplatir les récipients (7) après leur découpe par le couteau (11) tout en provoquant leur vidage dans un réceptacle (13) placé sous la trémie (2). Ce dispositif peut fort avantageusement se substituer aux ouvre-boîtes traditionnels, et supprime tout risque de coupure pour les mains de l'utilisateur.
