Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0233296A1] This contact rubber has a structure that prevents penetration by oily substances by utilising the increase, brought about by the oily substances, in the contact resistance value of the conductive portion. The contact consists of three portions : a key top portion (1), a conductive portion (2), an oil proof portion (3). The key top (1) is made of an insulating rubber moulded into the shape of a dome. The oil-proof portion (3) is a layer of an oil-proof rubber or a resin film formed between (1) and (2).
