[origin: WO8602799A1] During processing of data transmitted by terminals capable of communicating between each other, such as telefax receivers or integrated text-graphic terminals, documents containing data are openly treated during their transmission and/or at least their reception. The danger exists that unauthorized persons may study documents during their processing, appropriate the documents or make copy of them, both during transmission and reception. The same danger remains after printing said documents when the latter cannot be taken in charge directly by the sendee imediatly after having been processed. Third persons may have access thereto, for example during the packaging or preparation for the distribution by post, when public services are used and the documents have to be openly processed. In order to ensure the respect of the postal secret and the preservation of the integrity of information and documents both at the transmission and reception thereof, these are processed in a closed arrangement protected and safe against abusive divulgation and access; only the sendee may withdraw a document therefrom or said document is delivered in a sealed envelope.

Lors de la transmission télématique d'informations par des terminaux susceptibles de se communiquer, tels que des récepteurs de téléfax ou des terminaux intégrés de textes et de graphiques, des documents contenant des informations sont traités ouvertement lors de leur transmission et/ou au moins lors de leur réception. Il s'ensuit le danger que des personnes non-autorisées puissent prendre connaissance des documents pendant leur traitement, se les approprier ou en faire des copies, aussi bien lors de la transmission que lors de la réception. Ce même danger subsiste après l'impression de ces documents lorsque ceux-ci ne peuvent pas être pris en charge directement par le destinataire immédiatement après leur traitement. Des tiers peuvent y avoir accès, par exemple lors de l'emballage ou de la préparation pour la distribution par la poste, lorsque des services publics sont utilisés et que les documents doivent être ouvertement traités. Afin d'assurer le respect du secret postal et la préservation de l'intégrité des informations et des documents aussi bien à leur transmission qu'à leur réception, ceux-ci sont traités dans un agencement de protection fermé et garanti contre un accès ou une divulgation abusifs; seulement le destinataire peut en retirer un document ou ce document est livré sous pli fermé.
