[origin: WO8701031A1] The massage unit is comprised of a rotary massage cylinder (1), which is composed of a number of disk-shaped cylinder bodies (4) with a profiled pattern (5). The cylinder bodies can rotate in relation to one another and at specific angular positions engage mutually. In this way the overall profile of the massage cylinder (1) can be changed and set to the particular massage operation required.

L'appareil de massage comporte un rouleau de massage tournant (1) constitué d'éléments en forme de disque (4) avec une surface périphérique profilée (5). Les éléments (4) sont rotatifs relativement l'un à l'autre et peuvent être immobilisés l'un par rapport à l'autre dans des positions angulaires définies. De cette façon, la surface périphérique du rouleau peut être transformée et adaptée au type de massage souhaité.
