Apparatus for applying paint to surfaces, having a paint application roller (15) which has a cavity (16), which paint application roller (15) is provided on its circumference with paint discharge openings (17) leading from the cavity (16) to the outside, having a paint distributor (25) arranged in the cavity (16) with a radial space (26) and concentrically with respect to the paint application roller (15), paint application roller (15) and paint distributor (25) being rotatable in relation to each other, having means for supplying the paint into the space (26) and having mechanical baffles for distributing the paint during rotation of paint application roller (15) and paint distributor (25) with respect to each other, characterized in that the paint distributor (25) is arranged on a support and paint supply tube (2), a paint supply channel (27) connecting the inside of the paint supply tube (2) to the space (26) between paint distributor (25) and paint application roller (15), and in that the mechanical baffles are constructed as a spiral (30) on the surface of the paint distributor (25).

Abstract (de)

Eine Einrichtung dient zum Auftragen von Farbe auf Flächen, insbesondere auf mit Rauhfaser tapezierte Wände. Eine Farbauftragswalze (15) weist einen Hohlraum (16) auf. Die Farbauftragswalze (15) ist an ihrem Umfang mit vom Hohlraum (16) zur Außenseite führenden Farbaustrittsöffnungen (6) versehen. Im Hohlraum (16) ist mit radialem Zwischenraum (26) ein zur Farbauftragswalze (15) konzentrischer Farbverteiler (25) angeordnet. Farbauftragswalze (15) und Farbverteiler (25) sind relativ zueinander verdrehbar. Um die Farbe möglichst gleichmäßig auf die Farbaustrittsöffnungen (6) zu verteilen, sind im Zwischenraum (26) mechanische Schikanen zum Verteilen der Farbe bei Verdrehung von Farbauftragswalze (15) und Farbverteiler (25) gegeneinander angeordnet.
