Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0234554A2] 1. Load limiter, consisting of a U-shaped elastic clamp having an upper limb (1) and a lower limb (2) and an elastic part (3) connecting them, with an opening (4) being provided on the lower limb (2) for the hanging of a lifting cable, a securing element (16) connecting the upper limb (1) and the lower limb (2) being arranged coaxial to the vertical axis (15) of the opening (4), and with there being formed at the ends of the upper limb (1) and the lower limb (2) respectively, opposite the elastic part (3), a transverse channel (7) in which there are freely arranged the ends of a convexly curved elastic plate (8) for the actuation of two micro-cutout switches (10) which are arranged in a horizontal plane (18) and are displaced in relation to each other up to a certain distance, characterised in that two bearing necks (9) for the hanging of the U-shaped elastic clamp on a lifting gear are formed at the two ends of the upper limb (1), in that the elastic plate (8) is freely in contact with sensors of the two micro-cutout switches (10) and is that the micro-cutout switches (10) are mounted rigidly on two plates (11) which sit separately and such that they are axially adjustable on a vertical frame (12) which is secured by means of a main plate (13) to the lower limb (2) in an adjustable manner.
