A jointing device notably for construction units such as elements of parlour games which use counters bearing distinctive marks which can be matched up with those borne by other similar and complementary counters, the device comprising a plurality of modules (1) which can be selectively coupled together to form assemblies with two, three or four branches, the modules comprising complementary jointing means (2, 3, 4, 7, 8) for constructing the said assemblies, characterized in that the jointing means comprise bolting members (7, 8) which rotate about an axis perpendicular to the plane of two neighbouring modules, allowing a different angular positioning of the modules (1) according to whether the assemblies formed have two, three or four branches.
