Abstract (en)
The device comprises a plurality of air-conditioning units in a box (4) which is mounted in a service corridor (2) and applied to a partition (1) which separates the corridor from the rooms (3) to be air-conditioned. The box (4), which is parallelepipedal, contains a motor-ventilator set (13a, 13) which makes the air circulate between a renewal opening (10) and an intake opening (17) situated one above the other in the face of the box applied to the partition (1), in order to communicate via the opening (1a) with the room (3) on either side of a false ceiling (3a). The air passes successively through a filter (12), an exchanger (14) supplied with cooling liquid by a general circuit, and an electric heating resistor (15). The arrangement of the box (4) outside the room (3) reduces the noise in this room, reduces the risk of leakage and of condensation in the room, and makes possible monitoring and maintenance without disturbing the occupants of the room (3). <IMAGE>

Le dispositif comprend une pluralité de batteries de climatisation en coffre (4), montées dans un couloir de desserte (2) appliquée à une cloison (1) qui sépare le couloir des locaux (3) climatiser. Le coffre (4), parallélépipédique, contient un groupe moteur-ventilateur (13a, 13) qui fait circuler l'air entre une bouche de reprise (10-) et une bouche de soufflage (17) situées l'une au-dessus de l'autre dans la face du coffre appliquée à la cloison (1), pour communiquer par l'ouverture (1a) avec le local (3) de part et d'autre d'un faux plafond (3a). L'air traverse successivement un filtre (12), un échangeur (14) alimenté en liquide réfrigérant par un circuit général, et une résistance chauffante électrique (15). La disposition du coffre (4) en dehors du local (3) diminue le bruit dans ce local, réduit les risques de fuite et de condensation dans le local, et facilite la surveillance et l'entretien sans déranger les occupants du local (3).
