Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0235412A1] A hydraulic drain valve actuator (20) is interposed in a cleaning fluid path before a spray/rinse outlet. Fluid under pressure activates a piston (24) which operates the drain valve (30). A precharge reservoir is also interposed in the supply line before the spray rinse outlet to store a measured precharge which drains into the tank after the drain valve (30) has closed. A manual override (60) is provided to open the drain valve (30) in the event of a failure of the hydraulic system.
