[origin: US4757900A] The present invention relates to a packing case comprising a box, a heat-retractable plastic and at least one lid, for storing, handling and transporting a charge. In the said case, the heat-retractable plastic (2, 22) in sheet form is bonded at one or more of its edges (32, 322) to the outer surface of a wall (3) of the said box, in the vicinity of the side of the said wall, and extends, on the outside, from the said edge (32, 322) to the side of the said wall and then inside the box, opposite the inner surface of the said wall, moving away from the latter towards the charge which is to be packed. In the said case, the charge is held down against the bottom by means of the heat-retractable plastic along an overlapping zone.

La présente invention concerne une caisse de conditionnement comprenant un étui, un matériau plastique thermorétractable et au moins une coiffe, pour le stockage, la manutention et le transport d'une charge. Cette caisse est caractérisée en ce que le matériau plastique thermorétractable (2, 22) en feuille est lié par au moins une de ses bordures (32, 322) à la surface externe d'une paroi (3) dudit étui au voisinage du chant de ladite paroi, et est développé à l'extérieur à partir de ladite bordure (32, 322) vers le chant de ladite paroi puis à l'intérieur de l'étui en regard de la surface interne de ladite paroi tout en s'éloignant de celle-ci vers la charge à emballer. Dans cette caisse, la charge est maintenue en bas contre le fond par l'intermédiaire du matériau plastique thermorétractable le long d'une zone de recouvrement.
