Abstract (en)
Piezoresistive material (1) which can be used for producing piezoresistive gauges (4), and a production process for this material. This piezoresistive material (1) consisting of conducting particles embedded in an insulating matrix of polymerised resin, is characterised in that the conducting particles are randomly-oriented fibres. The invention applies to the production of piezoresistive gauges such as sensors or strain gauges which are sensitive to pressures from about 10<5> Pa to some 10<8> Pa. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un matériau piézorésistif (1) utilisable pour la réalisation de sondes piézorésistives (4) et un procédé de fabrication de ce matériau. Ce matériau piézorésistif (1) constitué de particules conductrices noyées dans une matrice isolante en résine polymérisée, se caractérise en ce que les particules conductrice$ sont des fibres orientées de façon aléatoire. L'invention s'applique à la réalisation de sondes piézorésistives telles que des capteurs ou des jauges de contrainte sensibles à des pressions allant environ de 10<5> Pa à quelques 10<8> Pa.
