[origin: WO8701433A1] Process and device for burning solid and/or liquid materials, in particular household or industrial waste, in a fluidized bed of granular material which is made to circulate in a combustion chamber (1) with the addition of air. The fluidization of the bed of granular material (13) and its regulation are effected by injection of pulses produced mechanically, electrically or electromagentically. The materials to be burnt are loaded separately, according to their heat of combustion, through feed channels (4, 5, 6) which are independent of one another and are located at various levels in the combustion chamber. Fluidization is effected with combustion air (3) subjected to pulsation vibrations, or by causing the grid (2) to vibrate. It is advantageous to use hydraulic pulse generators as the means (14, 15, 17, 18) for generating the vibrations. Over-modulated regulation of the bed can be obtained by introducing additional vibrations directly on a wall (11) of the combustion chamber, for example on a deflector plate or wall (12) or by the lateral injection into the chamber of secondary air (7) subjected to vibrations.
