[origin: WO8701411A1] A door closer that returns a hinged door in a structure to the closed position by the action of a spring (6) and a flexible cord (5) contained in a covered channel (1) and fixed to the door frame head. The spring is secured within the covered channel and attached to the door via a flexible cord. When the door is released the tensioned spring will return the door to the closed position.

Appareil de fermeture de portes ramenant en position fermée une porte montée sur charnières dans une structure par l'action d'un ressort (6) et d'un câble flexible (5) contenus dans un canal couvert (1) et fixés sur la partie supérieure du bâti de porte. Le ressort est fixé à l'intérieur du canal couvert et relié à la porte via un câble flexible. Lorsque la porte est relâchée le ressort sous tension la ramène vers la position fermée.
