Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0236531A1] 1. A radiator valve assembly for use with plate type radiators (12), intended for heating the same with water or heating fluid, respectively, comprising an integrated connecting piece (8) of a dual-tube system type formed for provision between the plates, exhibiting a forward-flow chamber (8.1) from which emerges a riser (9) leading to a valve chamber (10.1) ; a forward-flow connection (8.5) ; a return-flow collecting member (8.2) in blocking communication with the forward flow chamber (8.1) ; and a return flow connection (8.5) spaced from the forward-flow connection (8.5) and disposed at the same level thereof, with the valve chamber (10.1) accommodating an adjusting valve and intake connections (10.2) for the two plate-type radiators (12), wherein - when employing dual tube-type systems the forward-flow connection (8.5) is detachably connected to the forward-flow conduit and the return-flow connection (8.6) is detachably connected to the return-flow conduit, characterized in that for employment with single tube-type systems, a connection (4) of single tube system type provided with corresponding first and second connections (4.3/4.4) and located below the connecting piece (8) is detachably connected to the forward and return-flow connections (8.5/8.6), with connecting piece (4) being short-circuited by a connecting conduit (4.5) of an H-type bridge shape, wherein third and fourth connections (4.1/4.2) are located opposite said first and second connections (4.3/4.4), with said third and fourth connections being detachably connected to said single tube-type ring conduit, wherein the connecting conduit (4.5) terminating in the return-flow side in a valve seat with which the cone of the bypass valve (5) disposed in a valve sleeve (4.6) cooperates, is adjustable through the constricted cross-section of the connecting conduit (4.5).
