A work-locating device for the clamping of workpieces on work tables or the work tables of machining devices or installations, having : a clamping bolt (2) which can be inserted in a slot or a T-groove in the work table and bears at one end a head (3) whose cross-section exceeds the clear width of the slot or T-groove at least in the direction of one dimension ; a clamping jaw (15) which is disposed on the clamping bolt and which can be moved longitudinally at least to a limited extent along an axis at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt (2) and bears for the workpiece a clamping surface parallel with the clamping bolt ; a first eccentric (22) which is rotatably mounted on the clamping bolt (2) and which can be rotated by means of a handle (35) and whose generatrix extends parallel with the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt and whose external peripheral surface can be moved into engagement with a contact pressure surface parallel with the clamping surface ; and a clamping device (2, 4, 6, 25, 33, 41) actuable by the handle (35) to clamp the clamping bolt (2) in the slot or T-groove, characterized in that the handle (35) is mounted to pivot around a transverse spindle (34) at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the clamping bolt (2), and the clamping device (2, 4, 6, 25, 33, 41) is drivably coupled in its opening or closure direction to the handle (35) in relation to a pivoting movement around its transverse spindle (34).

Eine Spannvorrichtung (1) zum Spannen von Werkstücken auf Werktischen oder Werktischen von Bearbeitungseinrichtungen oder -maschinen enthält einen in einen Schlitz oder eine T-Nut des Werktisches einsetzbaren Spannbolzen mit Kopf (2). Auf dem Spannbolzen sitzt ein Spannbacken (15), der mittels eines Exzenters (22) senkrecht bezüglich der Längsachse des Spannbolzens (2) verschiebbar ist. Diese Verschiebung, die die Zuspannung des Spannbackens (15) bewirkt, erfolgt mittels eines auf dem Spannbolzen drehbar gelagerten ersten Exzenters (22), der mit einem Handgriff (35) betätigt ist. Dieser Handgriff betätigt ferner die Klemmeinrichtung, mit der die Spannvorrichtung (1) in der T-Nut festzuklemmen ist. Da der Zuspannhub abhängig davon ist, welche Relativstellung der Exzenter (22) und der Spannbacken (15) zu Beginn einnehmen, wenn die Klemmvorrichtung (1) geschlossen wird, ist, um eine Zuspannung des Spannbackens (15) in allen Stellungen bezüglich der Achse des Spannbolzens zu ermöglichen, der Handgriff (35) um eine zu der Längsachse des Spannbolzens (2) rechtwinklige Querachse (34) schwenkbar gelagert und die Klemmeinrichtung mit dem Handgriff (35) bezüglich einer Schwenkbewegung um seine Querachse antriebsmäßig im Sinne eines Öffnens oder Schließens gekuppelt.
