The work table (1) has under the rear part of its table-top (2), constructed as a shaft closure (14), a cable shaft (10), which extends over the width of said table-top and can be closed by end caps (23) which can be unlocked from the inside, and a cable passage slot (16) which leads upwards from said cable shaft and likewise passes essentially over the entire width of the table-top (2) and has a resilient slot seal, the front slot boundary (17) of which is formed by the rear longitudinal edge of the shaft closure (14) which can be swivelled forwards about a horizontal swivel axis (15) into an open position. Thus the passage slot (16) and the cable shaft (10) can be opened in a simple manner for laying the cables which can be fed from the equipment standing on the table surface (9) on the shortest route below the table-top (2) into the cable shaft (10). <IMAGE>

Ein Geräte-Arbeitstisch (1) weist unter dem hinteren, als Schachtverschluß (14) ausgebildeten Teil seiner Tischplatte (2) einen über deren Breite durchgehenden, mit von innen entriegelbaren Enddeckeln (23) verschließbaren Kabelschacht (10) sowie einen nach oben aus diesem herausführenden, ebenfalls im wesentlichen über die gesamte Breite der Tischplatte (2) durchgehenden Kabel-Durchführschlitz (16) mit einer nachgiebigen Schlitzdichtung auf, dessen vordere Schlitzbegrenzung (17) durch die hintere Längskante des um eine horizontale Schwenkachse (15) nach vorne in eine Öffnungslage klappbaren Schachtverschlusses (14) gebildet ist. Dadurch können der Durchführschlitz (16) und der Kabelschacht (10) zum Verlegen der Kabel in einfacher Weise geöffnet werden, und die Kabel können von den auf der Tischoberfläche (9) stehenden Geräten auf dem kürzesten Weg unter die Tischplatte (2) in den Kabelschacht (10) geführt werden.
