Die Erfindung betrifft eine Absorptionsschalldämpferkulisse, deren Absorptionsmaterial durch eine Stütkonstruktion niedergehalten wird, wobei diese Stützkonstruktion an ihre dem Absorptionsmaterial abgewandten Seite durch eine Folie kaschiert ist. Die erfindungsgemäßen Schalldämpferkulissen sind für die Dämpfung von Schallwellen in zum Kleben neigenden Feuchtstaub enthaltenden strömenden Gasen geeignet.
