[origin: WO8701442A1] Device for making measurements from a starting point and which is used for inputting data relating to journey stages into navigation systems. The device comprises an angle-measuring plate (10) with a 360<o> graduated scale (13) arranged concentrically with a central bore and starting at the North direction. On the central bore (14) a bracket (11) is rotatably supported, the end region (11b) of which has a measurement strip box (12) and whose opposite end region (11c) is provided with a guide (20) for a measurement strip (19), the latter being so arranged that, when it is drawn out of its box (12), one of its lateral edges runs outward, radially over the central point of the graduated scale (13). This device, which is of compact construction, small dimensions and has a large measurement range, allows the inputting of the distance and direction angle data of a journey stage by means of one single setting operation.

Dispositif pour effectuer des mesures depuis un point de départ et permettant d'entrer des données d'étape dans des systèmes de navigation. Le dispositif comporte une plaque de mesure des angles (10), dotée d'une plaque graduée de 360o (13) disposée concentriquement par rapport à un alésage central et partant de la direction Nord. Une console (11) est montée en rotation sur l'alésage central (14), et est pourvue à sa partie extrême (11b) d'un boîtier (12) de bande de mesure et à sa partie extrême opposée (11c) d'un guide (20) de bande de mesure (19). Cette dernière est disposée de manière que, lorsqu'on la sort de son boîtier (12), l'un de ses bords latéraux se dirige vers l'extérieur en passant radialement sur le point central de l'échelle graduée (13). Ce dispositif, qui est de construction compacte, de faibles dimensions et possède une large plage de mesure, permet l'entrée des données de distance et d'angle de direction d'une étape de l'itinéraire en une seule opération de réglage.
