[origin: EP0237998A2] The anchor for cladding panels, which serves for suspending cladding panels (10) in front of the outer wall of a building, has a holding part (6) which with an eye (8) grips round a horizontal supporting pin (11). The supporting pin (11) is arranged in a recess (9) in the cladding panel (10) and projects with its two ends beyond the side walls (15) of the recess (6). The supporting pin (11) has a supporting tube (12), made of high-grade steel, through which is inserted a reinforcing-steel rod (13), the two protruding portions (14) of which serve for anchoring in the cladding panel (10). <IMAGE>
