[origin: US4721209A] A film carrier light-proof case, whose envelope comprises a first portion enclosing a radiographic film, a second portion enclosing at least one small bag which contains chemical products in a liquid state for the development and fixing treatments of the film and means for intentionally tearing the bag, and a connection portion between these two portions of the envelope, and in which each bag comprises a first extension which starts laterally from an end of the bag, is bent along the bag and projects through the end of the second portion of the bag, and also comprises a second extension which starts centrally from the same end of the bag and extends along a part of the length of the second portion of the envelope in a direction parallel to the first extension, and the tearing means consists of an elongate member made of a stiff material, bent on itself to enclose between its own two branches the second extensions of the bags, and projecting beyond the length of the second portion of the envelope to form two tangs bent outside the two walls of the envelope.

Un étui porte-film imperméable à la lumière, dont l'enveloppe comprend une première section (1) renfermant un film radiographique (4), une deuxième section (3) renfermant au moins un sachet (5) de produits chimiques à l'état liquide pour le développement et pour le fixage du film et des moyens (9) pour le déchirement intentionnel du sachet, et une partie de connexion (2) entre ces deux sections (1,3) de l'enveloppe, et dans lequel chaque sachet (5) comprend un premier appendice (6) qui s'étend à partir d'un côté d'une extrémité du sachet, qui est replié lelong du sachet et qui fait saillie au-delà de l'extrémité de la deuxième section (3) de l'enveloppe, ainsi qu'un deuxième appendice (8) qui s'étend à partir du centre de la même extrémité du sachet (5) en se développant sur une partie de la longueur de la deuxième section (3) de l'enveloppe parallèlement au premier appendice (6), et les moyens de déchirement sont formés par un élément oblong (9) d'un matériau rigide, replié sur soi-même, renfermant entre ses deux branches les deuxièmes appendices (8) des sachets (5), et s'étendant au-delà de la longueur de la deuxième section (3) de l'enveloppe de sorte à former deux languettes (11) repliées à l'extérieur des deux parois de l'enveloppe (1-3).
