Abstract (en)
A control system for a fluid actuated motor, such as that driving the prime mover of a winch, said system comprising a conduit for feeding fluid to the motor, a valve actuable to open and close the conduit, and means for actuating the valve to open or close the conduit when a predetermined condition, such as an upper or a lower limit of a load, is achieved through operation of the motor. The actuating means may comprise a second conduit for feeding fluid to the valve, and means for closing the second conduit for feeding fluid to the valve, and means for closing the second conduit when said predetermined condition is achieved; the closure of the second conduit results in actuation of the first valve to close the main conduit.
