Abstract (en)
Vertically stacked screening meshes are carried by a support frame connected to at least one member adapted to subject it to an oscillating motion. The mesh or meshes (5 or 6) are fastened to the support frame (2) at the inlet and outlet end of the materials to be processed. The meshes are connected at one of their ends to a moving cross beam provided with position control members so that the tensioning induced into the meshes can be controlled. There are supports for the meshes cooperating with the mesh tensioning beam. The supports are shaped and arranged in such a way that the meshes are given a perfectly flat transverse shape and an upward convex longitudinal shape in a direction parallel to the forward moving direction of the materials.
