In the bottom area of the boiler (2) perforated tubes, ducts or the like (10) are arranged via which nitrogen at excess pressure is introduced into the boiler (2). The quantity of gas introduced uniformly dosed in the bottom area is mixed with the oil in such a manner that hot zones are suppressed and the fire is extinguished. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Im Bodenbereich des Kessels (2) sind perforierte Rohre, Kanäle od. dgl. (l0) angeordnet, über die Stickstoff mit Überdruck in den Kessel (2) eingebracht wird. Die im Bodenbereich gleichmäßig dosierte eingebrachte Gasmenge durchmischt das Öl derart, daß heiße Zonen unterdrückt werden und der Brand geloescht wirdt.
