[origin: WO8701759A1] A device for gathering liquid slugs in a pipeline transporting gas (slug-catcher), particularly in the context of the recovery of offshore oil and gas deposits. The pipeline leads along the seabed to an intake unit above the water usually a platform. The pipeline also is linked to a secondary riser (14) which has a smaller cross-section than the cross-section of the main pipeline (12). The main pipeline (12) leads to a loop (15) along the seabed from the junction so that the length is sufficient to accommodate a slug and retard it. The riser (14) is equipped with a regulatory throttle (22) which can provide counter-pressure to empty liquid into the main pipeline.

Dispositif permettant de collecter des bouchons de liquide dans un pipe-line transportant du gaz (collecteurs de bouchons), notamment dans le contexte de l'exploitation de gisements pétroliers et gazeux offshore. Le pipe-line mène le long du front marin à une unité d'admission au-dessus de l'eau, en général une plate-forme. Le pipe-line est également relié à une seconde colonne montante (14) qui présente une section inférieure à celle du pipe-line principal (12). Ce dernier aboutit à une boucle (15) le long du front marin à partir de la jonction de sorte que la longueur est suffisante pour loger un bouchon et le retarder. La colonne montante (14) est équipée d'un étrangleur de régulation (22) qui peut fournir une contre-pression pour vider le liquide dans le pipe-line principal.
