[origin: WO8702196A1] An electric contact socket (1), open at its longitudinal ends so as to receive two aligned contact plugs (2, 3) comprises a metal sleeve (4) provided with at least one longitudinal slot (5) which extends from one longitudinal end to the other and of said sleeve and transverse slots (7) starting from the or each longitudinal slot at least approximately half-way along the sleeve (4). The sleeve is enclosed by a hollow body (6) made of insulating elastomer.

Une douille de contact électrique (1), ouverte à ses extrémités longitudinales de façon à pouvoir recevoir deux fiches de contact alignées (2, 3), comprend un fourreau métallique (4) muni d'au moins une fente longitudinale (5) qui s'étend d'une extrémité longitudinale à l'autre de ce fourreau et de fentes transversales (7) partant de la ou de chaque fente longitudinale au moins approximativement à mi-longueur du fourreau (4). Le fourreau est enserré par un corps creux (6) en élastomère isolant.
