[origin: EP0238720A1] A floor maintenance device includes a drive system with a driver member (24) mechanically engaged with a pad holder. The pad holder (34) is temporarily attached to the driver member during assembly by the use of pressure sensitive contact pads (30, 40). The pad holder is also mechanically attached to the rotating pad during assembly by a similar pressure sensitive contact attachment system. Through the use of pressure sensitive contact pads the concentricity of the various parts is maintained during assembly and the chance for vibration is substantially diminished.
