The control element of the 5/3-way valve unit is formed by two control slides which are arranged separately in the housing, in each case have two axially offset control edges interacting with two medium connections each and can be acted upon separately by control pressure. The control edges of the first control slide control the supply air of the first and the exhaust air of the second cylinder side; the control edges of the second control slide control the supply air of the second and the exhaust air of the first cylinder side. At control pressures below the pressure level required to overcome a restoring force acting on them, both control slides are located in their zero position blocking all medium connections, in which arrangement a very small dead space occurs for the control pressure, which ensures a high response speed of the control system in particular in the area of the zero passage with at the same time a very compact construction of the valve unit. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Das Steuerelement der 5/3-Wege-Ventileinheit ist von zwei separat im Gehäuse angeordneten Steuerschiebern gebildet, welche jeweils Zwei mit je zwei Medium-Anschlüssen Zusammenwirkende, axial versetzte Steuerkanten aufweisen und separat mit Steuerdruck beaufschlagbar sind. Die Steuerkanten des ersten Steuerschiebers steuern die Zuluft der ersten und die Abluft der zweiten Zylinderseite; die Steuerkanten des zweiten Steuerschiebers steuern die Zuluft der zweiten und die Abluft der ersten Zylinderseite. Beide Steuerschieber befinden sich bei Steuerdrücken unterhalb des zur Überwindung einer auf sie wirkenden Rückstellkratt erforderlichen Druckniveaus in ihrer alle Medium-Anschlüsse sperrenden Nullstellung, wobei ein sehr geringer Schadraum für den Steuerdruck auftritt, was eine hohe Ansprechgeschwindigkeit der Regelung insbesonders im Bereich des Nulldurchgangs bei gleichzeitig sehr kompaktem Aufbau der Ventileinheit sicherstellt.
