[origin: US4819004A] A printed circuit array antenna includes at least one printed circuit formed by a substrate having radiating elements on a first face and an energy distribution tree on a second face. The array antenna is provided with a front structure having an elongated shape and superposed on the first face of the printed circuit. The front structure is composed of a substrate pierced with radiating apertures located opposite to the radiating elements of the printed circuit.

Antenne réseau sur circuit imprimé de forme allongée, comprenant au moins un circuit imprimé (10), ce premier circuit imprimé (10) étant constitué d'un substrat sur lequel sont disposés des éléments rayonnants (12) sur une première face, et un arbre de distribution d'energie (13) sur une deuxieme face. Elle comprend une structure avant (20) de forme allongée, superposée sur la première face de ce circuit imprimé (10) ; cette structure avant étant constituée d'un substrat percé d'ouvertures (21) rayonnantes disposées en regard des éléments rayonnants (12) de ce circuit imprimé. Application aux antennes réseaux.
