1. Device for forming a reserve of yarn for a weaving loom of the type comprising : - a member (1) for storing the yarn, of the type with open chambers (6), in combination with : - a means (2) for inserting the yarn in the storing member ; - a means (14) for extracting the yarn from the storing member ; - members (15) for insertion in the shed, characterized in that : - said storing member is constituted by a drum (1), comprising in the vicinity of its periphery, a plurality of open chambers (6) opening out on each of the front and rear faces of the drum ; - the opening of the means (2b) for insertion in the storing member and the drum (1) are mounted so as to be able to move reciprocally with respect to each other.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de formation d'une réserve de fil se présentant sous la forme d'un tambour, le dit tambour (1) comportant une pluralité de chambres ouvertes (6) débouchant sur chacune des faces avant (1a) et arrière (1b) du dit tambour. Le déplacement relatif du dit tambour (1) et de l'orifice (2c) de l'organe d'insertion (2) dans le tambour permet de répartir la longueur d'une duite dans une pluralité d'alvéoles sous forme de boucles élémentaires.
